Somewhere along the way, sea salt spray got typecast as a summer product, something you use at the beach, then forget about for the other eleven months of the year.
That's not what it's for. And it's not why we made ours.
What Sea Salt Spray Actually Does
Sea salt spray adds texture and workable hold to hair that would otherwise sit flat, straight, or over-styled. It works by lightly roughening the hair, giving strands grip against each other. The result: shape and volume without needing gel, wax, or ten minutes with a comb.
Translated: it makes your hair look like you did something to it, without spending twenty minutes making it happen.
Sea Salt Spray vs. Hair Powder
Both of our styling products do similar jobs. They add texture, volume, matte finish. But they aren't the same tool.
Hair Powder is for lift. A couple pumps on dry hair, work it through, done. Best for fine, flat, or thinning hair that needs volume from the root.
Sea Salt Spray is for texture and light hold. Spray on damp or dry hair, scrunch or shape it, and go. Best for medium-to-long hair that needs shape and a bit of grip, or straight hair that needs texture the strand can't generate on its own.
Some men run both. Spray through the ends for texture, blow-dry their hair and the add the Powder at the root for lift and extra hold. Two products, one routine, twenty seconds.
When To Use It
Damp hair, out of the shower, before it dries, this gives you the strongest texture. Or dry hair for a quick refresh mid-day when the shape has fallen.
Two to three spritzes for short hair. Four to eight for medium-to-long. Scrunch with your fingers. Adjust as you go.
The Bottom Line
Sea Salt Spray isn't a summer product. It's a texture product. Some men need lift, that's what the powder does. Others need shape and grip, that's what the spray does. Some need both.
Same brand thesis: keep it simple. Give the routine one more tool where it earns its place, and none where it doesn't.
Built for daily use. Done right.
